Andrew and the boys were brilliant, very professional and always left a clean and tidy work environment. The whole team including Georgie in the office were amazing and answered all of our questions and queries. There have been no problems and they have done a brilliant job, we were reassured if any issues occurred they would be straight out to help. We have had no problems and it has been brilliant.

Most efficient and accommodating in all aspects of administrative and works processes, with minimal disruption to occupants. Interface with Client elements of the overall installation were seamless. With limited scope for initial competitive tendering it is unclear how this can be gauged in value for money terms.

I am very happy with my new heat pump system. Once I got through the Home Energy Scotland application process Andrew made the rest of the process very easy. The quote, contract and supporting documents were easy to understand and Andrew gave me plenty of time to ask questions.

The installation team showed up exactly as planned and worked really hard while always respecting my home. The whole installation was complete in a few days and Andrew took the time to help me understand the system and go over the controls to make sure the system is set up to suit our families needs, he even checked in after a couple of weeks to see how it was working for us and if any tweaks could improve the efficiency further.

The house is lovely and warm, the water is hot and our energy costs have definitely improved. Highly recommend Optimum Heating and Renewables!

Andrew and his team were knowledgeable and helpful through the whole process. They selected the most appropriate heat pump, radiators and hot water system for us. The price compared well with other quotes we had. The heat pump is quiet and we are getting a good heating energy ratio even at this time of year.

The rooms are now lovely and warm and we have plenty of hot water. The whole thing is easy to control centrally or through a phone app. All work was carried out quickly and efficiently with good communication throughout. The team worked hard, finished the job ahead of time and cleaned up well after the job was finished.

Andrew managed everything , liaising with the electricians and making sure they came back to fix a broken switch after the job was complete. Paper work was also completed and supplied quickly and efficiently. I would highly recommend Optimum Heating and Renewables to anyone.

Andrew was brilliant. He worked really well with the construction team, putting in an ASHP and solar panels to integrate with a full EnerPhit retrofit. He was unfailingly helpful, going out of his way to support us as we got to grips with the system. The house is now wonderfully comfortable. Thoroughly recommended.

Andrew and his crew did an excellent job within the agreed timescales. Changes to specification (i.e. siting of the ASHP unit and radiator placement/retention) were dealt with in a professional manner and obstacles were overcome quickly and painlessly. The guys respected our privacy and were courteous at all times.

The price quoted was in the same ballpark as other installers, and the cost did not creep – in fact, changes to the installation quote reduced the final tally. Although the floors were taken up in most rooms, they were returned to their original state and any work-related mess was thoroughly cleaned up. Well done all round.

Air Source Heat Pump Installation, 22 & 23 August 2024. Andrew Peden carried out the full assessment, and took part in the installation, supervising the team who worked very well together with very little disruption, everything was left clean and tidy upon completion. Andrew returned afterwards on his own, and took time to explain the controls, programmers, and room stats. etc. to us.

Very professional service – the team had to put pipes and radiators in right through the house and kept the disturbance and mess to a minimum which was important as we both work from home. The quote was competitive and everything we said during the initial site visit was listened to and taken into account in the final design. Work started right on time and was completed without any nasty surprises. The installation looks very neat and tidy, and so far our house is warm and everything is working as advertised.
